Rihanna Says Her Music In 2021 Would Be Next Level And A Cookbook Might Just Be In The Mix Too!

‘Work’ hitmaker Rihanna, 32, hasn’t dished out an album since ‘ANTI’ in 2016 but 2021 for the mega star is all about taking things to a whole new level, including her music!

In a new interview with Closer Magazine, Rihanna stated that 2020 has at the very least given her time out to slow down and enjoy the little things:

“I am always busy and quarantine gave me the time to do things I wouldn’t always have been able to do: watch an entire box set in a day, cook, go for walk. It’s important we do little things we enjoy and are kind to ourselves,” she told U.K. tabloid Closer.

This comes on the heels of rumors making rounds that the singer, currently in her native Barbados is working on a cookbook of her favorite Caribbean-inspired recipes.

According to the music star and business mogul, she spent at least some of lockdown working on her original career;

“I’m always working on new music. Just because I haven’t released an album in a few years doesn’t mean I haven’t been working on it. I’m not just going to put music out because people are craving it. I’m going to make it worth the wait – and it will be worth the wait.”

“2021 is a little unknown for everybody, and nobody is sure what restrictions there are going to be,” she said. “My creativity is within my control though, and I want to take my music and my brands to a different level.” She added.

“For me, it’s about achieving excellence. That’s why I will never put an album out for the sake of it or do a movie for the sake of it or a fashion collaboration for the sake of it. I have to believe in it.”

Well said Riri!
