13-year old Nigerian Tennis Star Marylove Edwards Speaks to BBC about her Career & Plans for the Future

Marylove Edwards plays tennis with so much power that people are now calling her the Nigerian Serena Williams.

The 13-year-old sat down with BBC to discuss her career and her hopes.

She was introduced to tennis by her father at the age of 2 and started playing when she was 4.

Marylove hopes to play in the WTA in 2 years, and to one day be the first Nigerian to win a grand slam, and then become a world champion.
