Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele is a woman of many talents. Born in 1967 to the illustrious family of late Professor Lateef A. Salako, Noimot hails from Ado Odo Ota Local Government of Ogun State in Nigeria and is happily married with children. With over 30 years of experience in consulting, contracting, and real estate, she is a multi-talented professional with a proven track record of success.

Noimot holds a Master’s degree in Public Health Engineering from the Imperial College of Science & Technology in London, UK, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos. She has served on the boards of numerous companies in both Nigeria and the UK, and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Glenwood Property Development Company Limited.

As a team leader, strategist, and astute manager of resources, Noimot is committed to improving public health, providing affordable shelter, and promoting equal opportunities and a safe environment in her home state of Ogun. She believes that these foundations are crucial for the sustainable development of the state.

In addition to her professional achievements, Noimot is also a dedicated public servant. In March 2019, she was elected by the people of Ogun State to serve as the Deputy Governor alongside His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Noimot has also been recognized for her contributions to the field of public health engineering. In 2013, she was honored by the American Psychological Association for her Distinguished Early Career Contributions to Psychology in the Public Interest. The Institute of Violence, Abuse, and Trauma has also recognized her work, awarding her with their media award for the film Psychology of Human Trafficking in 2016 and the Donald Fridley Memorial Award for excellence in mentoring in the field of trauma in 2018.

As the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Noimot has continued to make a positive impact in the lives of the people of Ogun.
