It’s a special day today Wednesday June 23rd as we celebrate one of Nigeria’s most influential personalities doing the country proud in the diaspora, Baronessj Olajumoke Ariyo, Founder/ CEO Sistas & Divas, Cordinator, CASSOGI UK and 1st Vice Chairman Central Associations of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK),as she adds another year.

The top London based certified Nigerian Events Industry Practitioner committed to impacting her world has applaudably also established herself as one of the country’s most respected community activists in London.

Baronessj Olajumoke Ariyo, a top career woman boasts of a wealth of was experince, she was a Junior Finance Manager with the Metropolitan Police Service before leaving in 2012 after 15 years of dedicated service to start her own Events company, Splendour Events Design.

In 2012, she co-founded the multi award winning Nigerian Events Awards UK (NEA UK) which recognises and celebrates previously ignored and under-valued individuals and businesses working in and servicing the UK based Nigerian Events Industry.

In 2014, she founded the Baroness J’s Sistas And Divas Evening – an annual women only social networking event. The event is also a fundraising medium for laudable causes and charitable organisations in the community.

A mom of three, the British born Nigerian studied at the UK Academy of Weddings & Events Planning. She is also a proud graduate of French Education Graduate from the University of Benin, Nigeria.

She is a proud receipent or several awards such as the prestigious Platinum Business of the year Award at the International Women of Power Business Show in London, Inspirational Woman of the Year Award by the UK International Achievements Recognition Awards, the Ogun State Media Personality – Ambassadorial Award and Most Promising Blog Award by the Good Samaritan Foundation.

Baronessj Olajumoke Ariyo also has a wealth of experience in Media; she started as her Media and Broadcasting career at the Ogun state Television Service (OGTV) Abeokuta, Nigeria, in 1986. BaronessJ is an established Radio Presenter with my own Chat Show BaronessJ’s World – Naija FM 101.1.

In May 2017, she became the General secretary of the Central Associations of Nigerians in the UK (CANUK).
