Mae Beale beyond all odds makes history by fulfilling her dream of graduating from College. At age of 82 year old, she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
At her youthful age, she worked as a licensed professional nurse at various health care and government agencies in Washington, D.C. While working at the centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, she organized some large events which were applauded by people, it was then she determined to start a new career in event planning and launched her own business called “In Grand Style”.
To grow her business, she went back to school to earn an associate degree in business management at Howard community college in Columbia, Maryland. And while in her 70s, she pursues a bachelor’s degree.
Beale was hardworking towards her goals and participated in various extra-curricular activities. On the day after she turned 82 years, she graduated with honors in Business Management.
