Months ago, Tessica Brown made massive headlines internationally after getting her hair stuck to her scalp following usage of the strong adhesive, Gorilla Glue, now apparently, after the ordeal, she’s learned a thing or two and is now leveraging on her new found fame.
The 40 year old Louisiana mom of five has launched her own hair care line including a hair spray – which doesn’t stick forever of course.
Brown recently launched Forever Hair line of hair care products.
“A lot of people have been asking me, ‘What have you been using for your hair to grow back so fast?’ But I didn’t say anything because I’ve been waiting for this to come out. And now that they know, it’s selling,” Brown told USA TODAY.
“I have been working with professionals and we came up with a hair line, ‘Forever Hair,’ which has been helping me grow my hair back and maintain it,” Brown said Wednesday in a statement
According to TMZ, Forever Hair line offers a hair growth oil, edge control and hairspray which Brown credits for having helped her grow her hair back after it had to be cut due to scalp damage.
Forever Hair is for people who want the shiny, durable hold of a furniture glue, without the permanence and pain of a furniture glue, Forever Hold, the line’s strong-hold, shine-enhancing hair spray, helps solves that problem.
The oil includes: black cumin seed oil, avocado oil, safflower oil and a blend of essential oil which will promote scalp health, strengthen the hair, promote growth.
No surprise, Brown says her products are inspired by the nightmare of the Gorilla Glue incident.
In addition to hair products, Brown’s site hosts the following merchandise: hoodies, sweatshirts and tees that read, “Bonded for Life.”
