Nollywood actress, Ini Edo is 34 years old, the beautiful screen goddess whose full name is Iniobong Edo Ekim was born in 1982 in Akwa Ibom Nigeria.
She’s had a glittering career as a Nigerian actress so far, since she began her film career in 2000 and has featured in over 200 movies.
Ini Edo is a Theatre Arts graduate of University of Calabar.
After schooling she pursued her film career, which brought her into limelight and fame. In 2008 she got married to American-based Nigerian businessman Philip Ehiagwina. In 2013, she was announced as judge for the Miss Black Africa Uk Pageant. Due to her philanthropic gestures, the United Nations appointed her as the United Nations Habitat Youth Envoy.
She was nominated in 2014 for best actress Giama Awards, and female’s viewers choice and best comedic act, She was also also nominated for the bon awards, future awards,Nollywood movies awards and others.
She is a winner of the 2013 NAFCA award for best supporting actress.
She has over the years been successful and has featured in over 150 films in Nollywood, she can be tagged as one the most empowered actress in Nigeria.
