SAG Awards 2022: Will Smith Wins First SAG, Full List!

Ahead of the Oscars slated for March 27, Sunday, February 27 saw the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards, which honors some of the year’s best television and film performances by actors take centre stage in Santa Monica, California.

The highly anticipated award show saw Will Smith win his first SAG, clinching the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for “King Richard”, while Helen Mirren scooped the SAG Life Achievement Award.

“CODA,” “Succession,” and “Ted Lasso” dominated big in film and television. “Squid Game” received three awards, including two individual awards for actors Lee Jung-jae and HoYeon Jung.
