WATCH Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie talk #MeToo, Feminism & Gay Rights on CNN

By Duchess Magazine

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was on CNN to discuss the #MeToo movement, feminism, and rights of LGBT people with Christiane Amanpour.

The writer who revealed earlier this week in Stockholm that she was sexually harassed in Lagos at just 17 once again discussed the experience.

She also talked about growing up feminist in Nigeria, saying:

I became a feminist because I grew up in Nigeria, and observed the world. And just saw what felt to me like an injustice that made no sense.
